Hey Guys!!

There are times when I see the number of followers going down than going up and I wonder who must have unfollowed my blog.

It brings to my mind, what made him/her do so?

  1. Were they not happy with my posts?
  2. Were they bored and not getting anything interesting to read on my blog?
  3. Were they just irritated by the flood of posts on my blog?
  4. Did I post something which may have hurt them in some way?

And, then I start to think that I must find out the reason. It is important for me to know if I have hurt someone or irritated someone in any possible way and I would like to correct that.

So, would you please give me a chance to correct my unintentional mistakes and be kind to let me know in case you plan to unfollow my blog?

I would do anything to make sure that you stay with me. You are important to me and we are all a part of a big family and I surely wouldn’t want to lose any of my dearest Readers.

I am for my readers. I am where I am, for my readers. I love my readers.

    1. O Dear!! Now I am learning the facts behind unfollowing.. That is what I wanted to know. There are times when we just fail to notice and I truly want to apologize for the same. As I said, I want to correct my mistakes, I must request you to give me another chance. With my whole heart, I want you and me to remain. Need to thank you as well for reading all my posts without fail.

      1. I am just going through your blog and read the animal testing practices article.. Its a wonderful article, although I feel a little sad for the cruel practices they use on animals

    2. Hi there. I’m curious, how do you know who’s following you? Do you have some kind of tracker app? Does that sound stupid? I’m a new blogger, I really am clueless.

Anyway, I think you have great topics. I checked it out, posted comments, voted and gave you a “follow”. Hope you check out my blog, too.

      1. Not a stupid question at all! I had the same problem before. All you have to do is click on the bell in the top right corner and then click “follows” and a list should pop up. By the way, I love your blog’s design!

      2. Sorry. You go to reader and then click “manage followed sites” which pulls up a list of everyone you’re following. Compare that to the list of your followers and that will tell you who’s a one way follower and who’s a mutual follower.

  1. hi MySestina.
This is a great post. I’m actually curious as to why people would bother “unfollowing” others. I follow people coz I like their blog, it inspires me and I learn new things… maybe it makes me happy or it keeps my passion burning… not coz they’re following me. But, of course, it goes without saying that if someone supports me by giving me a “follow” I automatically return the favor.
However, if maybe they posted anything that may be offensive or that goes against what I believe in, let’s say I’m against “terrorism” or “violence against women & children” and I found out that they condone it, I will automatically unfollow them.

    More power to you.

    1. I must say I want to thank you for reading my posts! I generally write as and when something interesting comes to my mind! It may be too much sometimes for the reader, but I want to make sure that I don’t miss writing about anything that I feel I must write on.. Thank you again!

    1. Yes true… but I learnt that sometimes it can happen by mistake as well.. that’s what people told me. I always try to find out the reason for people to unfollow someone. Thanks a lot Richard!
